Our success is measured by client satisfaction and the value we bring to every project.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Data Center Technician for an on-site contract role located in Amsterdam. The Data Center Technician will be responsible for performing day-to-day operations in the data center environment, including installing, managing, and organizing cabling systems, ensuring optimal cable management, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting structured cabling activities. This role demands hands-on work and collaboration with technical teams to maintain seamless data center performance while adhering to set protocols and standards.Key Responsibilities:Data Center Operations and Troubleshooting skills Technical Support and Cabling expertise Knowledge of Data Center Infrastructure management Provide technical support and assistance for all aspects of data center operations. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of server hardware and networking equipment. Assist with the implementation, decommissioning, and migration of data center environments and technologies. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data center performance and efficiency. Maintain accurate documentation of all data center activities, including inventory management and service records.QualificationsProven experience in data center operations and infrastructure management. Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in providing technical support. Knowledge of server hardware and operating systems, with proficiency in variant technologies. Hands-on experience with cabling and cable management practices. Familiarity with network protocols, routers, switches, and firewalls. Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
