Your Responsibilities Provide tax advisory services to local businesses (international/ cross-border projects) Support on M&A projects and related integration activities as well as other restructuring projects or tax planning opportunities Support local businesses and Common Shared Services to assure tax compliance (CIT, WHT, VAT, etc.) Ensure that Group tax policies are properly followed Monitor transactions from tax risk perspective and provide corresponding input for tax accounting and reporting Maintain tax related internal controls Manage quarterly tax calculation and reporting Support develepoments and improvements to tax settings in SAP and Vertex Support the Global TP practice team to ensure that transfer pricing documentation is in place and in line with local requirements Support on global tax initiatives (Pillar 2, CbCR, DAC 6, etc.) Coordinate tax audits and communication with tax authorities and local tax advisorsYour background Master’s degree in Law or Economics Approx. 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in national and international taxes, either as in-house tax manager or as external advisor Sound knowledge of Dutch tax law including international tax law Knowledge of belgian tax law is an advantage Understanding of OECD TP rules Experience in managing tax audits Fluent in English and Dutch (French is an advantage) Excellent skills with MS Excel Skills with other data analytic tools (Alteryx, Power BI, etc.) are a plus Problem solver attitude, solution/result drivenHitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
