Head of Facilities – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | NetherlandsWe’re supporting the search for a Head of Facilities to lead a growing technical team within a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment. This role suits a hands-on leader who can balance strategic oversight with practical, day-to-day facility operations.Key Responsibilities Lead the Facilities & IT team, including workforce planning and team development Oversee all facilities, utilities and maintenance projects, including budgeting Manage installation, qualification and maintenance of Class A/B cleanroom environments Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, utilities and building systems (HVAC, water, gasses, fire alarms, etc.) Review daily reports and plan technical actions accordingly Oversee qualification activities in line with regulatory expectations; review/approve IO/PQ documentation Guide purchasing and maintenance of equipment and technology Chair or support HSE committee activities to maintain a safe working environment Manage vendor relationships and monitor performance Develop and maintain CAPEX plans with department headsRequirements BSc and 5+ years’ Facilities Management experience in the pharmaceutical sector Strong understanding of GMP and compliance for sterile environments In-depth knowledge of utilities and equipment (HVAC, compressed air, water systems, gasses, etc.) Experience with laboratory equipment and sterile/cleanroom environments Background in Health, Safety & Environmental management Working proficiency in Dutch Service-minded, proactive and comfortable in a hands-on leadership roleAbout Planet Pharma:Planet Pharma is an American parented Employment Business/Agency that provides global staffing services with its head-quarters in Chicago and our EMEA regional office located in Central London.
