Then we are looking for you As a Master Data Specialist, you and your team are responsible for managing, optimizing, and future-proofing our master data. You will work on both operational tasks and strategic projects, acting as a linking pin between business, IT, and data.What will you do? You manage and improve our master data in SAP and other systems by analysing existing data and actively working on data cleansing and optimization. You identify which master data is missing, what the purpose of the data is, who needs which data, and how data flows through the organization. You ensure that master data is easily accessible, compliant, and meets the needs of the organization. You actively work on process optimization, for example by automating data entry and improving data quality. You participate in and/or lead projects focused on data, process improvement, and digitalization. You are involved in maintaining the data- and governance model and knowledge management. You are the point of contact for data related questions from various departments (commercial, compliance, procurement, logistics, finance, IT, R&D). You act as a backup for operational colleagues and participate in operational processes.What do you bring? Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) or equivalent working and thinking level. You are IT-savvy: you have an affinity with IT/software and are willing to further develop your skills in tools such as Power Automate, Power BI, and Precisely (Winshuttle). Experience with these is a plus, but the willingness to learn them quickly is a must. You have an interest in AI and enjoy thinking about what AI can mean for MDM. Knowledge of project- and process management and SAP is a plus. You have a helicopter view but can also quickly zoom in on details. You are analytical, work accurately, and have a continuous improvement mindset. You communicate easily with different departments and enjoy working together.
