Make your mark as a Data Engineering & Visualization Intern at Boskalis
You’ll collaborate with mentors and users, and help create a solution that can support multiple dredging and infrastructure projects worldwide.
Your Responsibilities As a Data Engineering & Visualization Intern
Architect and implement backend integrations to connect API outputs with Databricks data storage and the visualization tool, ensuring automated near real-time updates.
Design and prototype intuitive user interfaces with clear navigation, layout, and styling, using realistic sample data.
Test, optimize, refine, and document both the backend data flows and the frontend visual experience to deliver a reliable, fast, and user-friendly solution.
Your Qualities And Experience
You can move ahead as a Data Engineering & Visualization Intern if you have:
Enrollment in a bachelor’s program (HBO), preferably in computer science, data analytics, engineering, or related discipline.
Understanding of basic API consumption (REST endpoints) and the ability to integrate data from multiple sources.
Knowledge of SQL and Databricks workspace for designing, implementing and automating backend data pipelines.
A good command of written and spoken English.

Full/part-time job: The position of Data Engineering & Visualization Intern is a full-time (40 hours a week) job.
