Data Science | software development internship: Mendix tool transformation

Customer Support (CS) ensures ASML systems in customer fabs run at the highest levels of predictability and availability. Our CS DUV Service Engineering team acts as the technical interface between field engineers and central teams. In this internship, you will help transform our data landscape into a more automated and user-friendly environment, directly improving engineers’ efficiency and engagement.
You will focus on redesigning our current tool landscape to make it more stable, intuitive, and future-proof. Your main challenge is to transform the existing PowerApps-based solution into a Mendix alternative that enhances usability and accessibility.
Collaborate with engineers to understand key information and user needs.
Design and implement a Mendix-based solution to replace PowerApps.
Support deployment and adoption within the engineering community.
This is a bachelor’s or master’s internship for a minimum of 5 months, 4–5 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is February 2026 (the team is flexible).
To be suitable for the internship, you:
Are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, data analytics, or software development.
Communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
Work collaboratively in a team environment, and you are proactive and can manage your time wisely.
Have experience/affinity with PowerApps, Mendix, and user experience principles.
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
