The Facilities Coordinator will be part of the facilities coordinators team based in Hoofddorp. The team is responsible to ensure that professional and efficient services are provided to the business. You will build strong relationships with all areas of the business and within the small team to ensure that workloads are managed efficiently and effectively. As part of this team, you will actively demonstrate and encourage Irdeto's values. You will report to the Head of Facilities while the operational day today workload will be managed by the Senior Facilities Coordinator. This position will interface with other facilities staff in HFD and at times around other Irdeto Offices, and with all employees within the Hoofddorp office. You will interface with Irdeto existing and potential supplier and contractors, Gemeente and other governmental institutions at time.

What you'll do:

  • Contribute to the responsibilities for all programs of internal maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all facilities, building systems and utilities, including techanical/electrical/plumbing/security systems etc.
  • Implement and supervise policies and procedures for Facility related tasks such as Security, Access control.
  • Establish preventative and corrective maintenance programs, energy conservation, and recycling programs.
  • Establish, implement, and supervise policies and procedures for health & safety and RI&E
  • Facilitate plans and specifications for proposed construction of all building and building improvements
  • Track and control construction schedule and associated costs to ensure work proceeds on schedule and within budget. Monitor sub-contractor performance.
  • Oversee performance of all trade contractors to ensure compliance with agreed scope of work.
  • Ensure that the office is compliant with corporate security procedures.
  • Be part of and coordinate the ERT/BHV team activities

What you bring:

  • HBO or MBO with 5 years' experience
  • Facilities technical background
  • Customer service focused and approachable
  • Work well in a team environment but able to work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Professional communication, customer service, organizational and planning skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
