Position Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Legal Intern
to join our notarial and corporate law practice in The Hague. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with
Dutch corporate law
, particularly in the incorporation and compliance procedures of
private limited liability companies (B.V.s)
, and to work directly with real client cases in a
cross-border legal context
.

Key Responsibilities


• Assist with the incorporation of Dutch B.V.s and the registration of Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK)


• Draft key legal documents, such as articles of association, shareholder agreements, and share registers


• Conduct legal research on obligations under the GDPR and AMLR, and provide preliminary legal risk assessments in cross-border operations


• Support client compliance inquiries and assist in reviewing and organizing internal legal documentation

Candidate Requirements


• Currently enrolled in, or will be enrolling in, a law programme (LLB or LLM), with a strong interest in corporate law, notarial work, or legal compliance


• Must either:


• Be registered at a Dutch university during the internship period and be able to sign a
tripartite internship agreement

or


• Hold a visa that allows internships without a tripartite agreement (e.g., zoekjaar/search year visa
)


• Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to learn about Dutch legal practice


• Available for at least
3 full working days per week


• Fluent in English

Dutch

Chinese
