Account Manager NL/EN (M/F/X)
As an Account Manager, you grow and diversify relationships with a defined portfolio of customers. You will own the account strategy, drive profitable growth, and ensure an exceptional customer experience, with a focus on industrial clients in the electrical equipment, protection and control systems, and software domains.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Own and execute medium- to long-term account strategies to increase share of wallet, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop retention and growth strategies for a defined portfolio of industrial clients; identify and convert recurring business opportunities.
- Build and strengthen trust-based relationships with decision-makers and key influencers within customer organizations.
- Coordinate end-to-end sales activities—from demand creation and opportunity shaping to proposal, negotiation, and closure.
- Ensure timely and high-quality issue resolution, maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
- Forecast and track account performance (pipeline, revenue, margins); use insights to optimize priorities and actions.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree (minimum), preferably in a scientific or technical field (such as Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronic Engineering, or Industrial Engineering)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in account management or solution sales within the energy, automation, or industrial electrification sectors.
- Proven ability to drive growth with complex, multi-stakeholder customers using solution-based selling.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills: pricing, forecasting, and contract negotiation.
- Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English; additional languages are an asset.
