About the Role

We're building a small, high‑impact team and hiring a core member to serve as the operational backbone of Samba Estudio - owning end‑to‑end PR, media, and community marketing across the Benelux. In this role, you will take total ownership of our largest client, a global, industry‑leading sports and lifestyle brand, and lead the full delivery of all related workstreams. This is an opportunity for a high‑performance operator to help shape the future of a fast‑emerging agency from the ground up.

You will work directly alongside the founding team and work closely with a large team of creative freelancers, catalysts, and community partners.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

PR, Media & Communications

• Lead day-to-day account management, becoming the operational point of contact for our largest client

• Support communications strategy & seasonal planning across running, lifestyle, and football categories.

• Manage press office function: Up to 4 mailers per month aligned with product drops, reactive and proactive press support, messaging quality control, build and maintain media lists and influencer lists tailored to specific launches and franchises.

• Drive product placement across earned media and creator channels.

• Lead influencer/press seeding: 50 targeted send-outs per month.

• Develop and maintain an influencer/creator database for the region.

• Support ambassador amplification and coordinate with global teams.

• Lead seasonal and quarterly reporting: media impact, reach, sentiment, benchmarks.

Community Marketing (Benelux Running & Lifestyle Ecosystem)

• Build, nurture, and maintain relationships with running crews, community leaders, catalysts, and culture shifters.

• Provide strategic counsel on Community trends, Market dynamics, Cultural insights, Consumer sentiment.

• Deliver monthly recaps, qualitative feedback, KPI-based reporting (attendance, engagement, reach, sentiment)

• Attend partner community events, maintaining consistent presence and understanding of the ecosystem.

• Ensure consistent dialogue and visibility within the community.

• Support community onboarding and matchmaking with the NB team.

Internal Role Within Samba

• Support agency-wide relationship building with partners, crews, and brands.

• Contribute to new business opportunities via insights, connections, and on-the-ground intelligence.

• Help refine our community, PR, and activation frameworks.

• Represent Samba at key events, runs, summits, and cultural moments across the globe.

• Work collaboratively with the Founder to shape the future of the agency.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ year experience in PR, influencer/creator relations, community marketing, or sports/lifestyle brand marketing.

• Strong knowledge of the Benelux running and lifestyle ecosystem.

• Deep passion for sport (ideally running), culture, and communities.

• Strong writing and communication skills (press releases, recaps, messaging).

• Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders and timelines.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Fluent in Dutch and fully proficient in English. Other european languages are a plus.

• Comfortable with travel, with occasional weekend involvement for community or event‑based activations

• A proactive, social, curious personality with high emotional intelligence.

Nice to Have

• Existing relationships with local journalists, influencers, crews, and cultural catalysts.

• Experience working with global brands or multi-market marketing teams.

• Interest in sneaker culture or fashion.

• Comfort operating with autonomy in fast-moving environments.
