Over de functie

Als Senior Cloud Platform Engineer speel jij een sleutelrol binnen de Data, AI & Analytics (DnA)-afdeling, die verantwoordelijk is voor de data-gedreven transformatie van de organisatie. Je werkt aan het cloud-native data platform gebaseerd op Azure en Databricks, waarmee de organisatie data en AI inzet voor slimme, veilige en efficiënte operaties.

Je gebruikt jouw technische expertise in cloud computing, platformbeheer, automatisering en scripting (zoals Terraform) om de infrastructuur te ontwerpen, onderhouden en optimaliseren. Samen met data engineers en ontwikkelaars bouw je aan een betrouwbare, schaalbare en veilige cloudomgeving.

Daarnaast implementeer je CI/CD-pipelines, automatiseer je processen, los je incidenten op en ondersteun je collega's waar nodig. Met jouw inzicht, verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en communicatieve vaardigheden ben jij een verbindende factor tussen techniek en business.

Wat jij gaat doen

Ontwerpen, beheren en optimaliseren van het cloudplatform (Azure, Databricks).
Bouwen en onderhouden van Infrastructure as Code met Terraform.
Implementeren van CI/CD-pipelines en automatiseringsprocessen.
Deployments uitvoeren via OpenShift.
Samenwerken met data engineers aan innovatieve dataproducten.
Ondersteunen en coachen van junior en medior engineers.
Adviseren over verbeteringen en innovaties binnen de cloudarchitectuur.

Wat jij meebrengt

Afgeronde HBO- of WO-opleiding.
Minimaal 5 tot 8 jaar relevante ervaring in cloudplatform engineering.
Ervaring met Azure, Databricks (Unity Catalog is een pré) en Terraform.
Kennis van netwerken (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) en versiebeheer.
Ervaring met CI/CD, automatisering en werken in een shared services omgeving.
Ervaring met OpenShift deployments.
Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk (Engels; Nederlands is een pré).
