As senior payroll officer you are responsible for the correct and timely processing of the payroll administration for our employees. You will do this for all our Demcon companies. The diversity in administrations, the combination of CLA and non-CLA companies and different pension schemes are guaranteed to provide variety and challenge in your daily work. In addition, you will improve processes so that we can work even more efficiently and advise on acquisitions. As a Payroll specialist, you will work at Demcon management & support and, together with your colleagues, ensure that business operations run optimally.

What are you going to do?

• Together with your colleagues you are responsible for independently and correctly carrying out the payroll administration for all employees;
• You process and check mutations, such as in and out of employment, salary adjustments and reimbursements;
• You identify and analyze deviations in salary payments with respect to the terms of employment and regulations as included in the personnel guide and initiate solutions. You
• ensure the correct application of laws and regulations concerning wage tax, social insurances and terms of employment;
• You provide support during audits and internal/external checks; You
• advise the HR colleagues and the management team in the area of payroll administration and terms of employment. In addition, you will have the opportunity to optimize processes and improve systems.

Furthermore, You Bring The Following

• You have hbo working and thinking level;
• You have a practical diploma in payroll administration (PDL), a professional training in payroll services (VPS) is an advantage;
• You have extensive work experience in a (similar) position;
• You have up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations regarding payroll taxes, social insurances and terms of employment;
• You are fluent in the Dutch language in word and writing, command of the English language is an advantage;
• You have experience with HR and payroll software, preferably AFAS and a good command of Excel;
