The operation of Videojet Technologies Europe B.V. in De Meern consists of two parts, namely:

1) The storage and distribution of high-quality coding and marking equipment to our customers in EMEA;

2) The production and distribution of cartridges for inkjet printers.

You as Quality Control Technician, together with the team, will make sure our products are of a good quality. You will be located in De Meern (Utrecht).

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspects and tests incoming goods and products manufactured in De Meern according to existing procedures, compares the test results with specifications and initiates corrective and preventive measures if necessary.

• Checks the supplied production documentation (batch cards, kanban cards, checklist) for correctness and completeness.

• Inspects the applied product labels for correctness and manages the label format.

• Initiates calibration or calibrates laboratory and production equipment himself/herself according to prescribed instructions.

• Issuing certificates of analysis and conformity

• Registers, processes and analyses the aforementioned observation results of the inspections and tests (SPC analyses) and reports these.

• Keeps the test equipment in optimum condition.

• Labels, isolates and registers rejected goods and ensures any rework.

• Initiates and supervises air measurements of organic volatile substances in the production department.

• Registers and manages waste flows

• Registers and reports energy consumption.

• Provides any necessary documentation for shipments

• Assists the production department in starting up new products

The essential requirements of the job:

• Years of experience: Preferably 1-2 years of experience in quality control or assurance in a production environment. A chemical or technical background is preferred. We also welcome candidates with less experience who show strong motivation and a desire to learn and grow.

• Education level: A background in chemistry or a technical field is preferred. Relevant work experience or demonstrated potential for development will also be considered.

Other (certifications / systems / languages):

• Good command of the Dutch and English language

• Confident user of MS Office

• You have or are willing to obtain the following certificates: IATA/ADR Dangerous goods, Forklift and BHV

• Independent and hands-on

De operatie van Videojet Technologies Europe B.V. in De Meern bestaat uit een tweetal onderdelen, namelijk:

1) De opslag en distributie van kwalitatief hoogwaardige codeer- en markeerapperatuur naar onze klanten in EMEA;

2) De productie en distributie van cartridges die toegepast worden in inktjetprinters.

Als Kwaliteitscontroleur werk je samen met een team om ervoor te zorgen dat onze producten van goede kwaliteit zijn. Je komt te werken in De Meern (Utrecht).

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:

• Werken in een kwaliteitsteam

• Inspecteert en test binnenkomende goederen en producten die in De Meern worden geproduceerd volgens bestaande procedures. Hij vergelijkt de testresultaten met de specificaties en initieert corrigerende en preventieve maatregelen indien nodig.

• Inspecteert de aangeleverde productiedocumentatie (batchkaarten, kanban-kaarten, checklist) op juistheid en volledigheid.

• Inspecteert de aangebrachte product labels op juistheid en beheert het labelformaat. -

• Initieert kalibratie of kalibreert zelf laboratorium- en productieapparatuur volgens voorgeschreven instructies.

• Geeft analyse- en conformiteitscertificaten af

• Registreert, verwerkt en analyseert de genoemde waarnemingsresultaten van de inspecties en testen (SPC-analyses) en rapporteert deze.

• Houdt de testapparatuur in optimale conditie.

• Labelt, isoleert en registreert afgekeurde goederen en zorgt voor eventueel rework.

• Initieert en begeleidt luchtmetingen van organische vluchtige stoffen op de productieafdeling. - Registreert en beheert afvalstromen.

• Registreert en rapporteert energieverbruik.

• Zorgt voor eventueel benodigde documentatie voor zendingen

• Assisteert de productieafdeling bij het opstarten van nieuwe producten

De essentiële vereisten voor de baan:

Ervaring:

• Bij voorkeur 1-2 jaar ervaring in kwaliteitscontrole of kwaliteitsborging binnen een productieomgeving. Een chemische of technische achtergrond heeft de voorkeur. We verwelkomen ook kandidaten met minder ervaring die sterke motivatie en de bereidheid tonen om te leren en zich verder te ontwikkelen.

• Opleidingsniveau: Er zijn geen strikte opleidingsvereisten. Een achtergrond in chemie of een technisch vakgebied heeft de voorkeur. Relevante werkervaring of aantoonbaar potentieel voor groei en ontwikkeling wordt ook meegenomen in de beoordeling.

Overig (certificeringen / systemen / talen):

• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal

• Ervaren gebruiker van MS Office

• Je hebt de volgende certificaten of bent bereid deze te behalen: IATA/ADR Gevaarlijke goederen, Heftruck en BHV
