Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise dimensional measurements on manufactured parts using various metrology equipment.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of measurement tools and instruments.
- Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other automated inspection systems.
- Analyze measurement data, interpret engineering drawings, and create detailed inspection reports.
- Ensure all measurement activities comply with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and validation of new measurement techniques and inspection processes.
- Document measurement results, equipment calibration records, and non-conformance issues accurately.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Metrology, Machining, Quality) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in using a wide range of precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, optical comparators).
- Experience operating and basic programming of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) using industry-standard software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso).
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Solid understanding of calibration principles and metrology best practices.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) for model interpretation or fixture design.
- Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for advanced Gage R&R or process capability studies.
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Advanced CMM programming skills for complex geometries or automation routines.
- Familiarity with automated or in-line metrology systems and data integration.
