What You'll Do

  • Lead day-to-day electrical assembly operations on-site, ensuring all systems are built to spec and on schedule
  • Interpret wiring diagrams, harness layouts, and technical drawings with precision
  • Build, route, and install harnesses, power distribution systems, connectors, and sensors in UAV platforms
  • Ensure quality at every stage – perform inspections, tests, and troubleshoot issues on the spot
  • Develop and maintain assembly procedures and work instructions for repeatability and clarity
  • Coordinate with production, mechanical, and avionics teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Train and mentor electrical assembly technicians – raise the bar, push for excellence
  • Collaborate with engineering to resolve design feedback and implement improvements from the shop floor
  • Own safety and compliance in electrical operations – zero shortcuts, zero compromises
Requirements

What You'll Need

Must-Have

  • MBO level 4 diploma in a relevant technical discipline, with a focus on engineering or manufacturing.
  • 10+  years of experience in a similar role within aerospace manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Solid hands-on experience in electrical assembly or integration in aerospace, defense, automotive, or similar high-tech industries
  • Strong knowledge of wire harnessing, crimping, soldering, routing, grounding, and electrical testing
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Experience leading or supervising small technical teams on the shop floor
  • Comfort working with tools, test equipment, and troubleshooting instruments
  • Familiarity with ESD procedures and safety standards in electrical builds
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English – Dutch is a plus
