What you'll do

At Dyflexis, we're tackling workforce management with smart, simple solutions. From time tracking to shift swapping, our platform helps over a million users get the right people in the right place at the right time.

As a Backend Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping our backend systems and enabling seamless features that make complex processes effortless.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Design and build scalable backend solutions that keep our platform running smoothly
• Improve and optimize core features like authorization and routing
• Contribute to architectural decisions that shape our platform's future
• Review code and mentor other developers
• Keep our systems robust while we scale to serve even more users
• Think along about new features and improvements based on user feedback
  

You'll work in focused project squads (with a Product Owner, UX Designer and fellow Engineers) to build, test and scale AI-driven features that directly improve workforce planning. We work in six-week sprints of deep focus, followed by two weeks of cooldown to gather feedback, refine features, and gear up for the next big win.

• Backend: PHP (Symfony), Docker
• Mobile: Ionic and Capacitor with Cordova
• Version control: GitLab monorepo with CI/CD
• Infrastructure: Docker for containerization
• Cloud: Kubernetes, Scaleway as our provider

What you need

• You know what it takes to build a solid product 
• You can inspire peers, as well as other technical and non-tech stakeholder
• You know your way around PHP (Symfony), Docker, Kubernetes, and Gitlab 
• Ownership and initiative come naturally to you – you're on it, always 
• You set systems up from scratch and embrace a 'build it, run it, love it' mindset 
• You are a passionate and pragmatic problem-solver: no puzzle is too complex
