Please be aware that to qualify for our Internship Placement, students must be actively pursuing an undergraduate degree (all disciplines) and returning to their studies after the 12 month placement concludes.

Purpose of the Internship:

The Global Internship Programme is an exciting opportunity to get first-hand experience in a world-class marketing organisation.

Note: This role may involve domestic and international travel and the occasional need to work unsocial hours including evenings and weekends.

Key Results Area

• Support the Publicity Executive on the rollout of publicity plans in the Netherlands.
• Support the Publicity Executive with coordinating press and influencer trips, working closely with our sister agencies, Failte Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland.
• Support on the rollout of several media events and partnerships across the Netherlands.
• Assist with the content creation for the online media room/ publicity communications.
• PR reporting and clippings and media monitoring collation as required.
• Support the Trade Executive with the roll out of the trade communications, trade familiarisation trips and attend various trade events or workshops.
• Support with general administrative duties including monthly finance and general office management.
• Represent Tourism Ireland at various industry, press and corporate events.
• Ensure adherence to the company's GDPR Compliance policies and procedures in respect of your area of work.
• Such other duties as the company may from time to time reasonably require.

The PersonThe successful intern will possess the following experience, knowledge and skills, competencies, and qualifications:

Essential

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (all disciplines will be considered).
• Must be returning to complete studies after the completion of the placement.
• The legal right to live and work on the island of Ireland for the full duration of the programme.
• Fluent English, both oral and written, is required.
• Proficient in MS Office
