As our
Lead Field Technician
, you'll be at the forefront of executing critical end-fitting termination activities—whether for a single pipe project or full multi-pipe campaigns under our innovative
Jumpers On Demand (JoD)
model.

You won't just supervise teams—you'll represent our quality, safety and technical expertise in the field, ensuring flawless execution during (trans)spooling, installation and repair scopes. From mobilizing equipment across continents to interfacing directly with clients offshore, this is a role where leadership meets hands-on excellence.

At our homebase in IJmuiden, you'll own the readiness of all Field Service equipment and drive continuous improvement through internal projects, upgrades and procedure development. In This Role, You Will

  • Lead and execute overseas end-fitting termination operations, including repairs and witnessing during (trans)spooling and TCP installation.
  • Ensure world-class safety, quality and team performance, acting as the primary onsite interface for clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain full readiness for global field deployment, delivering clear daily reporting and representing the Field Service Group professionally.
  • Coordinate seamless mobilizations, including equipment readiness, logistics, stock control and personnel travel/visa arrangements.
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and developing, maintaining and enforcing operational and maintenance procedures.

Skills

  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in installation, onsite fabrication or engineering, with offshore or remote-site exposure.
  • Proven ability to mobilize equipment for overseas Oil & Gas operations.
  • Comfortable working away from home, sometimes for several weeks.
  • Strong written skills, including developing operational procedures and clear technical reports.
  • Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.
