Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, accurate and highly organised Payments Administrator to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will manage the monthly processing and delivery of royalty payments to our global aggregation clients, ensuring they are paid accurately and on time, adding to the company's high performance and continuous growth. They will also support our Accounts Payable Administrator with the processing of vendor invoices and payments. What You'll Do

Payments:

• Performing monthly reconciliation of Royalties payable, from client level data as received from our Royalty Accounting Department, to final client payments entered as batches to our banking systems
• Inputting of payment instructions and batched payment runs from NetSuite to banking systems
• Being the first point of contact internally within the Finance team and the wider company in relation to questions on royalty self-bill processing and payments
• Processing Vendor invoices for approval and payment
• Liaising with customers, third party banks and vendors regarding payments
• Resolving issues which prevent the completion of payments and escalating where the issue cannot be resolved
• Ensuring cut-off times are adhered to and client receives the correct value
• Assisting with providing information for ad-hoc payments projects and ensuring completion in line with pre-agreed deadlines
• Performing other duties as necessary to support the finance operations team and wider business

Implementing operational improvements:

• Providing hands-on support with solving day to day issues in the finance operations team
• Helping identify improvement initiatives for our finance operations processes
• Assisting with improvements to ERP and other software integrations and workflows, specifically in regards to payments
• Creating, updating and implementing departmental documentation, support and training guides/procedures

What You'll Bring

You have a financial services background, with experience in payments and banking systems. You are detail-oriented, communicative, have experience working with financial ERP systems, and an affinity for continuous operational improvements.

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Economics
• Previous experience in a finance administrative role, including experience in inputting payments and working with online banking systems
• Understanding of foreign exchange
• Experience with financial software (NetSuite is a plus)
• Experience using MS Office and other administrative tools
• Comfortable communicating to clients and business partners, providing a high level of customer service
• Tech savvy and a fast learner with a can-do attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English language
• Excellent organisation skills
• Ability to work to tight customer driven deadlines
• Knowledge of local regulatory environment advantageous
