We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage advanced analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, and business insights to tackle complex problems and drive strategic decision-making. The Impact You'll Make
Data Strategy & Analytics:

• Identify business challenges and opportunities, and develop data-driven solutions to address them.
• Design robust analytics frameworks and implement techniques to extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured data.

Data Visualization & Dashboarding

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI to provide stakeholders with real-time access to insights.
• Effectively communicate results and trends through compelling visualizations, ensuring clarity and usability for decision-makers.

Machine Learning & Statistical Modeling

• Build, train, and deploy predictive and prescriptive models (linear regression, segmentation, clustering, forecasting, etc.) using machine learning algorithms.
• Develop scalable ML pipelines while ensuring interpretability and accuracy.

Data Engineering & Preparation

• Work with large datasets, ensuring data quality, integrity, cleaning, and pre-processing for modeling.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and create scalable systems for repeatable analysis.

Business Collaboration

• Partner as a thought leader with cross-functional teams (e.g., Ecommerce, Product, Operations, Marketing) to deliver impactful data solutions.
• Analyze full-funnel ecommerce data (traffic, conversion, retention, revenue) to uncover trends and inform marketing and commercial strategies.
• Identify drivers to boost performance while ensuring that profitability is in check. Automate solutions/simulators for business teams to track KPIs by tweaking levers using data.
• Translate technical findings into understandable narratives for non-technical stakeholders, driving actionable recommendations.

Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead data science projects end-to-end, including scoping, execution, and communication of results.
• Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback.

Tools & Technologies

• Utilize advanced analytical tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Spark.
• Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data frameworks for scalable analytics.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with the latest trends, algorithms, and techniques in data science to recommend improvements to existing processes and solutions.

The Skills And Knowledge You'll Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
• 8+ years' experience in data science, ecommerce analytics, or similar roles; in global/multi-market environments preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver end-to-end projects with measurable business impact.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis and modeling.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to query large, complex datasets.
• Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data mining.
• Knowledge of Databricks for data engineering, model development, and distributed computing workflows.
• Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders with actionable, data-driven recommendations.
• Exceptional communication skills; skilled at simplifying complex analyses into compelling narratives.
