What does a Service Designer Delivery Journey do?

As a Service Designer Delivery Journey you design and improve services across all our self-owned Delivery Journeys. These are services of our internal carriers CoolblueDelivers (large goods) and CoolblueBikes (parcels) which we've built from the ground up to simply amaze customers in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. You connect customer needs with business needs and technical feasibility to inform the way we plan, deliver and provide support. You make complex processes - like unhappy flow handling, scanning moments, depot handling and integrating our Repairs journey - clear, efficient, and easy to work with for customers and colleagues. You'll work in a multidisciplinary tech team that is focussed on making the best plan for every delivery as well as guiding our delivery heroes through effective execution and support. Together with our Product Owners, Application Specialists, Project Leads and Operations teams, you'll design services that make a real difference for our customers, delivery heroes, and our bottom line. If you like making complex things simple, bringing structure to chaos, and creating real impact across people, systems, and operations - this role is for you.

You enjoy doing this

  • Identifying where the delivery flow limits our goals on NPS (Net Promoter Score) or EBITDA and co-create improvements with the teams who run it.
  • Mapping and improving the full service ecosystem across our delivery journeys, connecting customer interactions with internal processes, systems and users.
  • Turning insights from research and data into concrete service improvements.
  • Designing and facilitating workshops that bring together tech, delivery, and operations.
  • Making sure your ideas, designs and solutions make it to the end and actually make an impact for Coolblue.
  • Continuously learning and staying up to date with new service design methods.

You recognize yourself in the following

You recognize yourself in this

  • 3–6 years of experience in Service Design, CX, or UX Strategy. Logistics / Operations is a plus.
  • You're experienced in mapping and improving complex systems and services.
  • You live in the Netherlands.
  • You combine qualitative insights, data, and creativity to make things better.
  • You're a confident facilitator who enjoys co-creating with different teams.
  • You know how to measure the impact of your work on customer experience and business results.
  • You're fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
