Job Title:Education Program Associate SpecialistDepartment:Arts and Sciences | Student Affairs Curriculum and Assessment

This position will guide the process of course review for three or more curricular subgroups within the Curriculum and Assessment Services. This process includes pre-screening curriculum and program proposals for compliance with university policy, crafting communications to academic units in the college and across the university, and facilitating the timely movement of courses through the review process. The Education Program Associate Specialist will maintain public facing and internal curricular records for the College of Arts and Sciences; provide administrative support to Program Manager and Assistant Dean and maintain web content for the Curriculum and Assessment Services; collaborate with other staff members, the Arts and Sciences Curriculum and Assessment Program Manager and Assistant Dean for Curriculum to coordinate curricular review and assessment; and support and contribute to special projects under the guidance of the Program Manager and/or the Assistant Dean. 

Required : Bachelor's degree in an Arts and Sciences field, Public Affairs, or Education or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Fully developed and refined written and oral communication skills, knowledge of higher education curriculum and university governance/structure, knowledge of academic program planning and coordination, an understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications, and training, work, or volunteer experience in an academic or professional setting is required.   

Desired : Work experience in higher education administration and/or advising, understanding of SIS, course scheduling, and university policies and procedures, and knowledge of university academic rules and regulations is desired.

The pay range for this job profile is $ $26.44. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
