Job Description
For our Marketing department, we are looking for an intern who will assist with various tasks.

You will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Program Manager to position the Medium Duty Product within the organization. Working beyond the marketing organization, reaching out to major stakeholders within the European DAF organization.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up a roundtable
  • Onboarding panel members to the roundtable
  • Preparing an introduction presentation to the panel
  • Building an understanding of the medium duty DAF product for yourself
  • Building a communication plan for the roundtable
  • Creating a plan for the Knowledge Management of the content covered in the roundtable
  • In addition, you will also be involved in various Marketing and Product branding initiatives

Your profile

  • You are a Bachelor or Master student
  • You are interested in or studying a Marketing + Sales track, or Industrial Engineering and interested in the product positioning topics
  • You are quick to learn and feel comfortable speaking to audiences in larger groups
  • Strong Communication skills in English is mandatory

Department

The Marketing Department is part of the European Marketing & Sales organization of DAF Trucks and is located in Eindhoven. The department is responsible in bringing new products and services into the European Market.

In addition to leading the go-to-market of the products and services, the department is also responsible for positioning the new products and services internally within the DAF divisions. The Marketing team is made up of 30 personnel but more marketing staff extend into the Sales Units locally in all major European DAF markets.

Each intern will have the opportunity to participate at the Student Event. During this event you will meet other interns and find out more about DAF/PACCAR
