We are supporting a globally recognized consumer brand group in hiring a Global Trade Compliance Lead.

This key position will oversee international compliance activities across multiple regions, partnering closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive best practice, mitigate risk, and ensure operational excellence.

The role provides strategic responsibility for trade compliance, with a strong focus on global regulations, packaging and product compliance, auditing, and continuous process improvement.

You will work collaboratively with internal partners across Logistics, Production, Sourcing, Legal, Tax, Finance, and Distribution, as well as with external suppliers, government authorities, and audit bodies.

Responsibilities of the Global Trade Compliance Lead:

  • Lead global trade compliance initiatives, including audit management, risk assessments, regulatory responses and corrective action plans
  • Stay current with global trade regulations, packaging and labelling requirements, ensuring proactive compliance and reduced risk exposure
  • Monitor regulatory changes to prevent cost impact and operational disruption across the supply chain
  • Collaborate across the business to build and optimize trade compliance policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
  • Report compliance risks, audit outcomes, and regulatory updates to senior leaders and key stakeholders

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related discipline
  • 7-10 years' trade compliance experience
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
  • Proven expertise in auditing, data analytics and process improvement
  • Ability to assess compliance gaps and design corrective actions across complex supply chains
  • Knowledge of legal and supply chain processes, alongside best practice compliance frameworks
  • Fluent in English - any other language an advantage
