Position Summary:
As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the accurate wiring, connection, and commissioning support of automation and industrial equipment. You play a key role in ensuring reliable, safe, and service-friendly electrical installations in line with engineering designs and applicable regulations.
Position duties and responsibilities:
- Wire and connect systems based on provided electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Route cables from PLC and control cabinets to analyzers, sensors, and other field devices, ensuring neat and professional termination.
- Label wiring clearly and maintain a clean, structured installation that is easy to inspect and service.
- Troubleshoot wiring and connection issues during build and start-up phases, identifying faults, implementing fixes, and verifying correct operation.
- Support commissioning and testing activities in close collaboration with engineers and programmers.
Qualification and requirements:
- Education: MBO degree in Electromechanical or equivalent through relevant hands-on experience.
- Demonstrated experience in wiring and connecting automation or industrial equipment.
- Ability to accurately read and work from electrical schematics and drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a careful, consistent, and detail-oriented working style.
- Comfortable working in the field and supporting on-site start-up activities when required.
Nice to Have (Plus)
- Basic understanding of PLC systems (no programming required).
- Experience with Modbus connections.
