About The Role
As the
Operations Manager, Benelux
, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the end-to-end supply chain, concerns planning, storage, logistics, registrations, delivery preparations and sales administrations for BYD's passenger car business in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. You will ensure a smooth, efficient, and reliable vehicle flow from factory to dealer/customer, supporting the commercial and product teams with accurate planning and operational excellence.

Beyond day-to-day operations, you are expected to design operations SOPs and shape the internal operations management systems aligned with Benelux business demands, covering forecasting, inbound logistics, VPC/PDI processes, outbound transport, stock management, and delivery operations. This role requires both strategic capability and hands-on execution, balancing quantitative KPIs (e.g., delivery lead time, inventory turnover, cost efficiency, logistics performance) with qualitative outcomes (e.g., operational governance, system improvements, cross-functional alignment).

Together with the Benelux leadership team, you will shape a robust operational foundation that supports business growth, enhances customer experience, and secures long-term competitiveness for BYD in the Benelux market.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Leading the operations team and owning the end-to-end supply chain operations, consolidating demand, coordinating factory orders, "3+3" planning production allocations, and ensuring timely vehicle availability across NL/BE/LU.
• Manage regional inventory at NSC/Importer and dealership level, including stock structure, turnover, aging control, and risk mitigation; lead S&OP cycles and ensure data-driven decision making for commercial and product teams.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including port operations, customs, VPC/PDI, warehousing, and dealer/fleet delivery; continuously optimize logistics partners, costs, and service performance.
• Build operations SOPs, and enhance the operations systems, working with local teams and HQ to implement order management, logistics tracking, delivery management, and dealer portal processes that enable scalable growth.
• Define and enforce operational standards, including compliance with EU and local regulations (e.g. in the NL: RDW, customs, VAT/BPM), process governance, KPI dashboards, and quality control mechanisms.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Dealer Network, Finance and Europe/HQ teams, ensuring operational feasibility for commercial plans, product launches, and fleet projects, while driving continuous improvement across the organization.
• Oversee sales administration processes, including internal commercial approvals, invoicing, rebate management, and order-to-delivery documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless coordination between Operations, Sales, and Finance.

Required Skills, Qualifications And Experience

• 8 years of professional experience in automotive supply chain, logistics, operations, or similar fields, ideally in OEM/importer environments and multi-country operations.
• Solid expertise in end-to-end automotive operations, including inbound logistics, VPC/PDI, warehousing, vehicle distribution, and inventory management.
• Proven ability to build systems and processes, with strong analytical capability, hands-on execution, and operational leadership.
• High resilience and adaptability, able to operate in a fast-growing, cross-border/cultural environment while managing multiple operational priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across functions and external partners (ports, logistics providers, dealers).
• Experienced in sales administration workflows with strong accuracy awareness and a solid understanding of commercial-to-operational linkage.
• Fluency in English, with Chinese, Dutch or French skills as an advantage.
