Retail Operations Coordinator

As a Retail Operations Coordinator at MR MARVIS, you play a central role in supporting our retail team from our headquarters in Amsterdam. Your daily tasks include managing supplier accounts, overseeing store maintenance, and ensuring all facilities and contracts are in order. You will be involved in projects aimed at solving challenges within our stores and take a leading role in these initiatives. You'll regularly visit stores to analyse the progress and results of these projects. With a practical and proactive mindset, you help optimise our retail operations. Additionally, you manage budgets and contribute to the ongoing sustainability of our retail strategy.

• Supporting the retail team from the headquarters in Amsterdam;
• Setting up various supplier accounts for new stores;
• Setting up and managing maintenance activities, such as store installations (HVAC, cleaning, fire extinguishers, etc.);
• Ordering goods for the stores;
• Ensuring all utilities are connected, keeping track of all ongoing contracts, and proactively negotiating prices;
• Acting as a stakeholder for the retail team on new projects;
• Solving issues that arise in stores and streamlining communication;
• Working closely with the supply chain team;
• Regularly visiting stores;
• Contributing ideas on making the retail branch more sustainable.

• Minimum MBO-4 working and thinking level (equivalent to intermediate vocational education);
• At least 2 years of experience in facility management (required for this position);
• Experience in retail is a plus;
• Passion and enthusiasm for the MR MARVIS brand;
• Hands-on and proactive attitude;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to work within a budget;
• Being practically skilled ("two right hands") is a plus;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English;
• Available for 32–40 hours per week;
• A valid driver's license (category B) is required.
• For non-Europeans, a valid working permit for the Netherlands is required.
