We have a vacancy (full time) for a Project Engineer IRM for our organisation based in Dordrecht (NL).

As a Project Engineer IRM at N-Sea, you are a key member of a multidisciplinary project team responsible for the successful execution of offshore subsea installation, repair, and maintenance (IRM) projects across both the oil & gas and renewable energy sectors. You will play a vital role in the technical preparation and coordination of complex offshore operations, including the development of project documentation and engineering drawings.

Your responsibilities will also include supporting and attending vessel mobilization and demobilization, ensuring all engineering aspects are executed safely and efficiently. Occasionally, you will join the vessels offshore to provide on-site engineering support during project execution. These projects often involve air-diving and ROV activities, as well as repairs, modifications, construction, and decommissioning of subsea structures.

This role offers a dynamic combination of technical challenge and operational involvement, allowing you to contribute directly to delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality subsea solutions in demanding offshore environments.

You will be based at the main office in Dordrecht, however partly remote working is an option and short trips to installation vessels may be part of your job. Key Responsibillities:

• You are part of the project team and support all stakeholders of the project with your expertise as Project Engineer, this includes preparation of methodology, documents, schedule, and equipment lists for air-diving and/or WROV projects;
• Supporting the Lead Project Engineer with the technical solutions for our IRM projects;
• You assist in guiding internal and external engineering specialist who perform detailed calculations;
• You support in the equipment selection and coordinate the subcontractor and supplier selection in conjunction with procurement, and assist in registering the requirements into a procurement system
• You stay informed about new developments relating to WROV, Inspection and diving technology;
• Attending client meetings and review client supplied documents;
• You work in close collaboration with the operational teams to ensure the efficient execution of projects
• Assisting tender teams in developing and reviewing method statements and engineering deliverables for tenders.
• You ensure all work is undertaken to the highest quality and professionalism, in accordance with the company Document Management System and relevant standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Civil, Mechanical, Offshore Energy, or similar.
• Proven work experience in offshore projects of at least 3 years.
• Good analytical skills.
• You have excellent communication and language skills in English (written and spoken).
• You will work in our office in Dordrecht (The Netherlands), however partly remote working is an option and you are willing to occasionally travel abroad.
• You have a hands-on approach, are a strong team player and have professional attitude towards Health & Safety.
