Event Specialist Netherlands

The Event Specialist is an event coordinator for different types of events, for example Medical Education, Advisory Boards and Consultancy. The Event Specialist is a subject matter expert who advises internal stakeholders on the current regulations and who applies them in the execution of the event projects. The Event Specialist ensures that all processes and procedures are strictly followed and that the correct administrative systems are used, resulting in compliance, quality and transparency. The Event Specialist is dedicated to a specific Therapeutic Area and within that area The Event Specialist has dedicated responsibilities and ownership for decisions on behalf of that Therapeutic Team. In this ownership, The Event Specialist will act as Single Point of Contact, resulting in informing & instructing the team in collaboration and cooperation with the Team Lead Event Specialists Netherlands.

Main tasks and activities
 

-  Logistic organizing different types of events

-  Request for accreditation and follow up

-  Processing of Fee for Service agreements

-  Invoice handling

-  Compliance gatekeeper

-  Communication with Health Care Professionals (HCP) or Health Care Organizations (HCO)

-  Processing Purchase Orders

Place in the organization

 

The Event Specialist reports into the Team Lead Event Specialists Netherlands, a sub team within the Department Medical Operations.

Profile & Qualifications

 

-  Excellent project management skills with a strong ability to plan and organize effectively.  

-  Preferably proven experience in stakeholder and vendor management.  

-  Demonstrating pro-activity, ownership, collaboration, flexibility, and agility.  

-  Excellent communication skills to inform, advise, coordinate, and evaluate events.  

-  Ability to take accountability for actions and effectively manage conflicts.  

-  Strong affinity with our company's Credo-based values.  

-  Independent work ethic within established frameworks.  

-  Adaptability to a changing environment with a flexible mindset.  

-  Strong team player, collaborating effectively with business teams and colleagues.  

-  Preferably having knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards in the Dutch pharmaceutical market.

-  Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. 

-  Bachelor Degree or similar relevant work experience in the area of "logistic event management"
