Intern UX Designer

This role is part of our Experience & Engineering business team. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Tikkie, Inter Milan, Hubo, and Lufthansa.

JOB PURPOSE

Looking to kick off your creative career as a UX designer? Join our talent program designed to shape you into a next-level UX designer. We'll give you all the attention, feedback, GIFs, and high fives you need to grow into a standout professional. Our goal? To help you reach your full potential.

One minute you're mapping out user flows and structuring a new platform from scratch, the next you're turning insights from usability tests into wireframes that actually work. Need to show how it all fits together? Build a clickable prototype that walks users through your thinking. Up for a challenge? Push user experience boundaries, simplify complex processes, and transform feedback into seamless designs.

From day one, you'll be paired with a dedicated mentor for 1-on-1 coaching and join a team of 40+ passionate designers always ready to help.

By the end of your internship, you'll have gained valuable experience in the field, worked on projects for A-list clients, and built a portfolio that truly turns heads.

The closing date for this position is 23rd December.

Note: to be eligible for this internship, you are required to be living and studying in the Netherlands and be fluent in Dutch.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Dive into exciting projects for clients like Tikkie, Inter Milan, Hubo, and Lufthansa.
• Defining a structure for a website based on the client and user goals.
• Transform that structure into intuitive, usable wireframes.
• Helping set up and conduct usability testing and research.
• Translate test and research results into actionable insights.
• Build and refine clickable prototypes to bring your ideas to life.
• Create and design creative digital concepts that engage users.
• Present your designs and concepts effectively to team members and stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and strategists to create the best possible product for the user.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Are passionate/crazy/nuts about UX design and creating digital experiences.
• A proactive attitude, we expect you to make the most of the opportunities you'll get
• Have an impressive portfolio or have worked on cool (digital) projects.
• You show a passion for understanding and empathizing with users.
• You know your way around user research and (usability) testing.
• Have experience in working with leading design tools such as Figma.

Hard Requirements

• You are enrolled in a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship
• Availability of 5 days per week (40h), from February 2026 for a duration of 5 months.
• You speak Dutch fluently, and you're also confident in English - whether you're writing, presenting, or just chatting with the team.
