Renewable Energy Asset Manager

WHO YOU ARE
You combine professional skills and knowledge to work together with our external asset management service providers, relevant stakeholders and other Ingka co-workers to improve and protect the performance of our international portfolio of renewable energy investments through a mix of managerial, financial and technical methods.
You have a background in engineering, a thorough understanding of asset integrity management and are eager to work driven in renewable energy asset management. Assertiveness and strong management skills come naturally to you. Your working methods are analytical and methodical, where creating value and improvement is something that drives you.
You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and ideally a degree in a relevant field. You can communicate fluently in English (additional languages a plus), and you are open and flexible for international trips. In this role you will be exposed to commercial and technical challenges with loads of room to develop your skills and grow into the team of Asset Management.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
On a day-to-day basis you will be involved in various business matters for one or more regions, where you will:
Be main contact for, and maintain working relationships with, external asset management service providers and other relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe and smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with Ingka Standards, rules and operating procedures. Perform reporting and prepare SPV board meetings according to standards.
Maintain overview of and assist in dealing with technical, contractual, legal, insurance and health & safety issues relating to the projects.
Develop and implement technical risk management methodologies, perform analysis on asset performance, reliability & improvement engineering, to ensure value based asset management.
ABOUT THIS WORK AREA
Since 2009 Ingka Group has invested in renewable energy projects working towards our goal to consume 100% renewable electricity and produce 13,5 TWh per year in 2023. We now own and operate over 55 Renewable Energy Projects across 21 countries overseen at a portfolio level by a small team based in the Ingka head office in the Netherlands. You will be part of this team within 'Ingka Investments', one of our core business areas alongside IKEA Retail and Ingka Centres.
As a Renewable Energy Asset Manager, you will contribute to business growth and the sustained long-term profitability of the Ingka Group by overseeing the management of renewable energy projects.
The position is a permanent position based in Leiden, The Netherlands.
