Our client is an innovative AI start-up of around 15 people, combining expertise in
hardware, cloud services, software, and AI
to deliver a fully automated inspection platform for the automotive industry. The team is passionate about building scalable, reliable, and high-performance software that directly impacts customers and users.

The Role

As a Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in evolving and extending the company's inspection technology. Working in a small, agile team means you'll have plenty of ownership and influence over the technical direction of the product.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Translating business concepts into clear technical requirements and specifications.
  • Designing, developing, and testing robust, performant Python code.
  • Building scalable back-end solutions in the cloud (AWS).
  • Integrating CI/CD pipelines and maintaining 99.999% uptime reliability.
  • Making architectural decisions (e.g., SQL vs NoSQL, Lambda vs ECS).
  • Managing priorities, deadlines, and delivery in an evolving environment.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with AI, hardware, and business teams.
  • Taking full ownership of your code and contributing to continuous improvement.

About You

We're looking for a proactive and communicative engineer who enjoys technical autonomy and working closely with others.

You'll bring:

  • 2+ years of professional experience
    developing in Python.
  • Good communication skills
    in English (written and verbal).
  • Familiarity with
    FastAPI, AWS, PostgreSQL, or Docker
    (nice to have, not required).
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • A focus on
    clean, testable, and maintainable code.
