• Als Senior Mendix Developer ontwerp, bouw en onderhoud je complexe Mendix-applicaties bovenop SAP S4. Je bewaakt architectuur, neemt technische beslissingen, integreert systemen en coacht junior developers voor kwaliteit en stabiliteit.

•  Door schaalbare, stabiele apps te ontwikkelen die door collega's worden gebruikt, zorg je dat winkelprocessen soepel verlopen. Dit maakt het werk efficiënter en verbetert indirect de klantbeleving.

• Je werkt in het Store Employee Experience-team met Mendix developers, testers, UX/UI-designers en business analisten. Samen ontwikkelen jullie apps die cruciaal zijn voor de dagelijkse operatie in alle winkels.
• Je schakelt met SAP-specialisten, AWS-experts en andere Mendix-teams. Daarnaast werk je nauw samen met business stakeholders om functionaliteit te valideren en verbeteringen door te voeren op basis van feedback.

As a Senior Mendix Developer, you play a key role in designing, building and maintaining a large and complex Mendix landscape on top of our new SAP S/4HANA platform. You develop applications that are used daily by more than 50,000 colleagues and are critical to our store operations.

You drive quality, stability and scalability. You make technical decisions, coach junior developers, safeguard Mendix architecture and integrate our applications with SAP, other Mendix apps and AWS.

You build it, you run it and you own it — end to end.

Your workday as a Senior Mendix Developer
09:00 – 09:15 Daily stand-up with your scrum team
10:00 – 11:00 Refinement sessions and solution design for complex challenges
11:00 – 12:00 Code reviews and coaching of junior colleagues
13:00 – 16:30 Deep focus on development, integrations and architectural challenges
16:30 – 09:00 Periodically participating in the stand-by rotation (with compensation), independently resolving critical incidents

You work within the Store Employee Experience team, where Mendix plays a key role in supporting store processes. You collaborate closely with testers, UX/UI designers, business analysts and Mendix developers from multiple teams.

As a senior, you take the lead in:

• Designing technical solutions and Mendix architecture
• Further developing standards and best practices
• Coaching colleagues and raising overall team quality
• Integrating with SAP, AWS and other systems
• Visiting stores to validate functionality and gather feedback

You are given plenty of room to innovate, take initiative and future-proof the Mendix landscape.

Profile

• 5+ years of experience with Mendix (Advanced or Expert certification is a plus)
• Proven ability to design scalable Mendix architectures
• Experience with integrations (SAP, APIs, Mendix apps, AWS)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders
• Full ownership mentality — including independently participating in the stand-by rotation
• Experience coaching others and actively contributing to team maturity
• The ability to identify improvement opportunities and turn them into action

We offer

• Een bruto maandsalaris tussen de €5.100 en €6.500 (op basis van 40 uur per week).
• Een jaarlijkse bonus van maximaal 5% van je jaarsalaris, afhankelijk van de organisatiedoelstellingen.
• 30 vakantiedagen (met de mogelijkheid om extra dagen te kopen of verkopen) en 8% vakantiegeld.

• Reiskostenvergoeding van €0,21 per kilometer (tot maximaal 35 kilometer enkele reis).
