As a
Shift Technician
you work at a data center in the Amsterdam area. Here you work on the availability of the critical environment installations.

The data center where you will be working is a technically complex environment where many disciplines come together. Together with your CBRE colleagues, you are responsible for monitoring, operating and maintaining all critical environment installations, as well as having them resolved.

As a Shift Technician you work in a 5-shift schedule (2x morning/afternoon, 2x afternoon/evening, 2x evening/night, 4 days off). In addition to Shift Technicians, the team in which you will work consists of Admin Support, Technical Coordinator and a Site Manager.

In the position of Shift Technician, your primary goal is to strive for correct operation and maximum availability of the critical environment installations.

There Is a Variety Of Activities In This Position. In Addition To The Aforementioned Management And Maintenance Of The 'critical Environment' Installations, Your Tasks Will Be As Follows

  • Reading and analyzing data from the Building Maintenance System;
  • Carrying out periodic checks and inspections;
  • Signaling deviations or irregularities in installations;
  • Advising on any additional or project-based maintenance;
  • Guiding employees of subcontractors.

Ideally, You Should Also Bring The Following

  • MTS diploma preferably in the direction of Electrical Engineering;
  • In addition, you have VCA-VOL, NEN3140 VP or Stipel and NEN 3840, And experience with Switching.
  • Command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
  • Willing to work in shifts.
