You join our Business Development team, working closely with Product Owners, Engineering, Sales, Account Management and Customer Engagement. The team is spread across Arnhem and Berlin and focuses on building new smart charging products, validating market needs and strengthening relationships with key partners. Within this team, you take ownership of our Virtual Power Plant product direction. You work with grid operators, traders, portfolio managers and internal stakeholders to help Deftpower unlock the flexibility potential of thousands of EVs across Europe.

• Salary range: between €60.000,- and €95.000 on an annual basis

As Product Manager Virtual Power Plant you are the product lead for DEVA, Deftpower's EV aggregation engine. You translate the needs of energy market players into a clear strategy, a focused roadmap and decisions grounded in data.

You help shape how EVs become part of Europe's flexibility markets, balancing the grid, supporting renewable energy and creating value for millions of drivers. A Virtual Power Plant (VPP) uses the electric vehicles to behave like one large flexible energy resource. Your role is to help make this a scalable reality.

This is a role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of energy markets, product thinking and innovation. You bring clarity across teams, guide complex decisions and collaborate with partners rather than reinventing solutions from scratch.

• Define and maintain the product vision for our Virtual Power Plant
• Translate the needs of grid operators, traders and portfolio managers into product direction
• Manage the roadmap and full product lifecycle
• Prioritise using data, market requirements and real world flexibility opportunities
• Maintain feedback loops in a high scale environment with large driver and vehicle volumes

You bring curiosity for energy markets and a product mindset that thrives in fast moving, innovation driven environments. You work comfortably with technical, commercial and regulatory stakeholders and bring a calm, structured approach to solving high impact challenges.

• 5+ years experience in product management for SaaS, energy, mobility or automotive solutions
• Experience in energy markets (BRPs, DSOs, balancing, trading and related concepts)
• Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and commercial teams
• Analytical mindset with familiarity in APIs, data and structured decision making
