Functieomschrijving Over de functie

Ben jij technisch onderlegd en beschik je over commerciële vaardigheden? In de rol van Sales Engineer vorm je de brug tussen klant en techniek. Je adviseert klanten over de beste technische oplossingen, vertaalt behoeften naar offertes en werkt nauw samen met interne teams om projecten succesvol te realiseren.

Deze functie combineert sales, techniek en klantcontact. Je krijgt de ruimte om een eigen klantportfolio op te bouwen en te beheren, waarbij je actief meedenkt over productverbetering en marktontwikkelingen.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

  • Adviseren van klanten over technische oplossingen en producttoepassingen

  • Opstellen van offertes, calculaties en technische documentatie

  • Onderhouden en uitbreiden van klantrelaties, zowel telefonisch als op locatie (Benelux)

  • Identificeren van commerciële kansen en marktontwikkelingen

  • Samenwerken met engineering, service en productie

  • Ondersteunen bij productdemonstraties, beurzen en klantpresentaties

  • Actieve bijdrage aan omzetgroei en klanttevredenheid

Vereisten Functie-eisen

  • Afgeronde technische HBO opleiding (bijvoorbeeld werktuigbouwkunde, mechatronica of elektrotechniek)

  • Commerciële instelling met goede communicatieve vaardigheden

  • Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring in een technisch-commerciële functie (bij voorkeur in de industrie, machinebouw of installatietechniek)

  • Je voelt je comfortabel in klantgesprekken op verschillende niveaus

  • Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal, Engels is een pre

  • Vermogen om technische tekeningen te interpreteren en te communiceren.
