This could be your everyday

Join the EMEA Regional Planning & Supply Management team at Amgen Breda (ABR) and contribute to cutting-edge projects that blend machine learning, natural language processing, and data visualization. You'll help transform how we forecast supply needs and interact with data — making our operations smarter, faster, and more responsive.

You'll work on one of two high-impact projects:

1. Forecasting Quotas with Machine Learning

Help build a predictive model that recommends monthly production and distribution quotas based on historical demand, regulatory timelines, and market behavior. Your work will directly support better planning and ensure consistent patient access to critical medicines.

2. Smart Dashboards with GenAI

Integrate ChatGPT into existing dashboards to enable natural language queries and real-time insights. This project aims to turn static reports into interactive, AI-powered tools that empower decision-makers across the supply chain.

Key Deliverables
  • ML-powered quota recommendation engine or GenAI-enhanced dashboards.
  • Integration of insights into existing tools for immediate SME use.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, SQL, Python/R, Excel, and GenAI/NLP.
  • Opportunity to shape the direction of your project based on your interests.

We're looking for curious, driven students who want to apply their technical skills to real-world problems.

Profile:

  • Master's student (or Bachelor with HBO completed), preferably in:
  • Data Science
  • Machine Learning
  • AI / Computer Science
  • Experience with:
  • Python or R
  • SQL
  • Working with unstructured data
  • (For Smart Dashboards) GenAI, NLP, RAG
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
