Join our team and help deliver thoughtful, high-quality experiences for our members and guests.The role…At Soho House, the Assistant Front of House Manager supports the Front of House Manager and ensures optimal experience is had by all members, guests and staff that interact with the front office, member services and reception desk. You will be responsible for supervising front desk agents, mitigating guest and member risk by introducing solutions and processing payments.As Assistant Front of House Manager at Soho House Amsterdam you are an ambassador for the brand with a detailed knowledge of the Soho House Group and its concept. Demonstrating a professional approach towards our managers, employees and guests. You provide leadership to the team ensuring your team display a 'can do' attitude and 'yes yes yes' mentality in alignment with The Soho House Ethos whilst maximizing the efficiency of operations.Main Duties: Promote Soho House and its concept, whilst achieving the highest member and guest satisfaction.To effectively manage, lead and train the entire Hotel and Club Reception team in an inspirational manner.Partner with Front of House Manager to develop, create and refine efficiency in the member and guest check in process and welcome experienceContribute to yearly departmental goals, related to payroll, expenses, staffing levels and guest serviceResponsible for monitoring and supporting daily operations, greet hotel guests and members upon arrivalSupervise, direct, coordinate, influence and persuade staff in order to maintain service standards set forth by Soho House & Co.Communicate daily events, guest lists, VIP's, room (hotel) occupancy and sales budgetDeliver the highest standards of customer service and process, track and report all guests' disputes and claimsRequired Skills/Qualifications:Minimum of 3+ years' experience working and 1+ year of FO Supervisory experienceDetail oriented, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentComputer skills, Excel, MS Word, Opera preferredCustomer services oriented and excellent verbal and written communication skillsBilingual language skills are a plusHospitality Degree is preferredFlexible schedule, evenings, weekends as neededBenefits : Soho House offers competitive compensation packages that feature global benefits and perks.
