About the Role
DP World is seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Specialist to join the dynamic team in Rotterdam, NL. If you're passionate about sales and eager to make a meaningful impact within a global logistics leader, this is a great opportunity. In this role, you will contribute to revenue generation and customer relationship management by selling logistics services, handling customer inquiries, and coordinating shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery. You will also provide pricing and rate information and serve as a trusted daily contact for customers.

How You Will Contribute

  • Identify and engage potential customers, maintain a customer database, and deliver compelling sales pitches.
  • Act as a primary contact for existing clients, responding to inquiries and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to plan and coordinate shipments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Monitor shipment progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and revenue.
  • Generate regular sales reports and forecasts to support business planning.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and business expansion.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience in logistics operations, supporting customer service and pricing activities.
  • Demonstrated success in sales within the logistics industry.
  • Proficiency in CRM and TMS systems and other relevant tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Solid understanding of freight forwarding and supply chain management.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with customers and internal teams.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
