In this role, you'll work hands-on with high-voltage transformers and related systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and future-proof performance. You'll collaborate with engineering experts, travel across the region, and contribute to sustainable, cutting-edge energy solutions.
What You'll Do
- Commission, install, test, and maintain high-voltage transformers and electrical systems
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on transformer and substation equipment
- Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot electrical and control systems
- Provide expert technical advice and on-site support to customers
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve quality, reliability, and performance
- Prepare detailed service and commissioning reports
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and industry regulations
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- 5+ years of experience in service, maintenance, or commissioning
- At least 2 years of experience in high-voltage environments
- Strong understanding of transformer design, operation, and protection systems
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and relevant software
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and customer-facing mindset
- Fluent in English and good knowledge of Dutch (minimum B1)
- Willingness to travel weekly across the region

- Gross monthly salary: €4,500 – €6,000 euros/month
- Permanent contract directly with the client
