Overview

A boutique advisory firm is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join its European Debt Advisory practice. This role is based remotely in Amsterdam and is focused on supporting mandates across Europe, with a particular emphasis on the Benelux region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support debt advisory mandates across Europe, especially in Benelux
  • Collaborate closely with senior team members on origination and execution
  • Originate new opportunities (50%) with support from dedicated sales and marketing teams
  • Execute transactions (50%) with operational support from a South Asia-based team
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Thrive in a lean, high-performing team where individual contributions are visible and valued

Ideal Candidate

  • 8-15 years of experience in debt advisory, investment banking, or corporate finance
  • Strong client-facing skills and relationship management experience
  • Deep understanding of European debt markets, particularly in Benelux
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely
  • Motivated by working in a small, agile team with high visibility and impact
