We have an exciting opportunity of Sr. Global Financial Analyst within Ten Cate Geosynthetics in Hengelo. We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic colleague. This position is a professional financial position performing a wide variety of accounting, consolidation, analysis and controlling related tasks under the supervision of the Group Treasurer.

The responsibilities of the Senior Global Financial Analyst are:  

  • Group consolidation process (actuals, budgets, forecasts); 
  • Key role in the period end process, ensuring that this happens timely, correctly and completely;
  • Preparation of the global balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and other ad hoc reports; 
  • Preparation of period end and year end reporting requirements;
  • Assuring global compliance with accounting standards and financial reporting policies and rocedures;
  • Involvement in external audits;
  • Support in maintenance of the excel based reporting tool Cognos Controller;
  • Assisting in further developing and maintaining the Treasury organization;
  • Assisting in the collection and processing of tax related data to stay fiscally compliant, in line with internal procedures and external obligations;
  • Special Projects or Assignments

Required and Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in the field of Accounting or Finance;
  • Registered Accountant/Controller license or on track to becoming a licensed RA/RC; 
  • 3-5 year relevant work experience;
  • Solid understanding of consolidation and strong knowledge of IFRS;
  • Knowledge of consolidation software (preferable Cognos Controller), proficient in MS Excel and affinity with databases;
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English;
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, but also has the ability to think out of the box.
  • Sees it as a challenge to take on a wide variety of tasks, that belongs with a small global finance team.

TenCate Geosynthetics (TCG) is the leading manufacturer of geosynthetics including wovens, nonwovens  (mechanically or hydraulically entangled fibers), geogrids and further fabrications of each for general applications in civil works and infrastructure as well as more niche applications including water & environment and industrial fabrics. TCG is a global business generating global sales in Americas, EMEA and APAC of which a significant portion is directly related to government spending. 

Salary:

Moreover a complete and attractive compensation and benefit package. The salary range is between €3500,- and € 5500,- ft a month
