Associate Project Director (GenAI/Creative Production)

Location: Rotterdam (Hybrid)

Employment: 12-month FTC with view to extend


We're looking for an Associate Project Director to lead AI-powered creative projects for our global food client across European markets. This is a unique opportunity to combine social-first marketing expertise with cutting-edge AI capabilities to transform how leading food brands engage consumers.


What You'll Do
  • Drive multi-market social and e-commerce campaigns using GenAI tools.
  • Manage complex projects blending traditional workflows with AI production.
  • Collaborate with social teams in Germany, Benelux, France, Poland, Italy.
  • Ensure quality, efficiency, and innovation in all deliverables.


Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
  • Partner with in-market social teams to integrate GenAI creative capabilities.
  • Manage stakeholders and prioritize market needs.
  • Lead complex, multi-channel projects leveraging GenAI technologies.
  • Drive project excellence across creative, strategy, and AI production teams.
  • Ensure best practices in project management, resource allocation, and timelines.
AI Production Management
  • Oversee GenAI workflow integration and optimization.
  • Manage AI tool implementation within project timelines.
  • Coordinate between traditional and AI-powered production streams.
  • Ensure quality control for AI-generated assets.
  • Track and report on AI production performance.
Planning & Execution
  • Develop comprehensive project plans incorporating AI workflows.
  • Identify and mitigate risks specific to AI production.
  • Manage scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure quality and efficiency across all deliverables.
  • Drive continuous process improvement.
Team Management
  • Build strong relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Lead internal communications and foster collaboration.
  • Support capability building and innovation within the team.

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of GenAI capabilities and limitations.
  • Experience with creative production workflows.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management systems and compliance processes.
