Are you looking for a hands-on internship where you can contribute to real change in the field of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion? Join our ED&I team and help us roll out impactful initiatives that support inclusive succession planning and disability inclusion.

What you'll be doing day to day

This is a hands-on internship (meewerkstage), where you'll be actively involved in the daily work of our ED&I team. You'll contribute to concrete diversity projects and gain experience in inclusive HR practices and organizational development.

What you will do:

• Support the rollout of ED&I initiatives, including inclusive succession planning and disability inclusion
• Assist in letting everybody know about our ED&I initiatives and events, in different ways of internal communication.
• Help collect and structure data and feedback to support inclusive decision-making in HR
• Participate in an objective recruitment process and learn how inclusive hiring works in practice

You'll work closely with the ED&I Leader and collaborate with colleagues across the organization, like the Employer Branding leader, the Succession and Workforce planning leader, Public Relations and Public Affairs managers and of course People & Culture (HR) departments of our stores. You'll be based at our Service Office in Haarlem, with the possibility to work hybrid depending on your assignment.

Who you are

• To be eligible for this internship, you must meet the following criteria:
• You are currently enrolled in an education program in the Netherlands (MBO, HBO or WO)
• You are available for at least 24 hours per week, preferably 32–36 hours
• You can be at Service Office (Haarlem) 2/3 days a week
• You are available for a period of 5–6 months
• You have an interest in topics related to inclusion, equity, and organizational development
• You can speak and write English
• Relevant fields of study may include (but are not limited to):
• Human Resource Management (HRM), Social Sciences, Applied Psychology, Philosophy, Gender & Diversity Studies

What happens next

Based on these responses, we will select a number of candidates to move forward to the next step.

Selected candidates will be invited for a conversation with the ED&I Leader. After this interview round, you'll be informed whether you've been offered the internship.
