About the role:

In this internship, you'll contribute to the smooth running of our finance operations by supporting a wide range of accounting activities. From handling day-to-day financial administration to helping with client billing and internal reporting, you'll develop a solid understanding of both accounts payable and receivable processes. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting, build your financial acumen, and work closely with an experienced international finance team.

Your responsibilities:

• Assist with daily financial administration and book-keeping.
• Process purchase invoices and bank statements, reviewing and processing out-of-pocket expense reimbursements, and preparing weekly payment runs (AP).
• Create sales invoices, communicate with our international clients, and follow-up on trade receivables, and perform vendor registration setups in the online systems of our corporate customers (AR).
• Participate in preparing financial reports by assisting with the preparation of reconciliations during the month-end closing process.
• Organize and archive finance documents.
• Provide administrative and financial support to the team with numerous other finance and accounting tasks.

Your profile:

• A current 3rd year Bachelor's degree student
  doing a study in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar.
• Enrolled at an educational institution in the Netherlands.
• Based in or near Amsterdam, with the ability to work 2 days onsite/week - Tuesday and Wednesday
• Strong written and oral communication skills, fluent in English.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Excel in the creation and editing of big data spreadsheets.
• Knowledge and a good understanding of accounting principles.
• Have good attention to detail, accuracy, and are an organized team member.
• Available for approx. 6 months.
