What will you do?

As an Assistant Controller, you will hold a varied, challenging, and responsible position. You will assist the CFO with the Planning & Control cycle (monthly figures, forecasts, budget) and perform related financial tasks and analyses.

Your activities will include cash and liquidity management (preparing payments, performing analyses, managing accounts receivable and payable), bookkeeping (general ledger, banks, balance specifications), and inventory management within the ERP system (reconciliations).

You will also prepare CBS statistical reports, manage the insurance portfolio, and participate in various financial projects and analyses.

You ensure the financial administration is accurate and timely reporting is provided to the CFO, the local management team, the ArcelorMittal Shared Service Centre, and the external accountant for the annual audit.

In short, as an Assistant Controller at Riwald, you will have a wide range of responsibilities that go beyond simply preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

Your Profile

Bachelor's degree in Finance & Control, Business Economics, or Accountancy (HBO level)

Experience as a Junior Controller, ready for the next career step

Analytical, structured, and responsible, with a focus on meeting deadlines

Strong communication skills; fluent in Dutch and English (German is a plus)

Proficient in Excel; experience with Exact and SAP is an advantage
