Product Design Lead – UX/UI 

As a Product Design Lead, you will be responsible for shaping and scaling a unified digital experience across all markets by defining UX/UI processes and standards, owning the Global Design System, and elevating design maturity across the global and regional product organizations. This role sits within the Global Product & Design team and acts as both a strategic leader and a hands-on design expert, collaborating with regional product teams to ensure consistency, excellence, and cohesive experiences for customers and partners across all digital products.

Day to day:

• Set the global UX design vision, guidelines, interaction models, and design principles, ensuring alignment across all digital products.
• Lead and mentor UX/UI designers and UX researchers.
• Lead the evolution and adoption of the Global Design System, including components, patterns, and documentation.
• Review and guide high-quality design work, prototypes, and user journeys.
• Partner with Product and Technology leadership to shape discovery, strategy, and execution.
• Support and guide regional product teams with design reviews, ideation sessions, and discovery activities.
• Lead workshops facilitation, onboarding process, and training to promote design maturity and shared practices.
• Ensure UX research insights inform design decisions and product roadmaps.
• Track and report on design system adoption, quality metrics, and UX performance KPIs.

Essentials:

• 15+ years of experience in design roles, with at least 5 years of design leadership.
• Proven record of delivering high-quality, user-centered digital experiences end to end for B2B, B2C, fintech or SaaS products.
• Experience leading, mentoring and uplifting UX/UI designers and UX researchers.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills, with a deep understanding of user experience principles.
• Experience conducting or supporting user research and validation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence through evidence and empathy.
• Strong collaboration skills, thriving in close partnership with PMs and Tech Leads.
• Product-mindset: iterative, data-driven, customer-centric.
• Comfortable setting global standards and driving adoption.

Extras:

• Experience in vendor finance, banking, fintech, or financial services.
• Knowledge of product analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Qualtrics).
• Background in service design or customer journey orchestration.
• Exposure to global transformation programs or enterprise CoE structures.
