Power Electronics Engineer – Technical Lead (Almere, Netherlands):

  • We are hiring an experienced
    Power Electronics Engineer – Technical Lead
    (8+ years) to drive the design and integration of advanced electrification components in Almere, Netherlands.
  • This is a
    12-month extendable contract
    with hybrid working.

Focus Areas:

  • Design & Lead:
    Design of
    motor inverters, DC/DC converters, and battery chargers
    . Lead simulation (
    PSpice/Mathcad
    ) and oversee
    EMI/EMC
    and agency certification.
  • Battery Systems:
    Develop
    Battery Management Systems (BMS)
    and charging solutions (e.g., battery swapping). Conduct high-voltage battery testing.
  • Integration & Validation:
    Integrate electrification components into heavy-duty systems (
    tractors/buses
    ) using
    model-based systems engineering
    and lead on-site validation.
  • Testing & Infrastructure:
    Coordinate
    E-drive, environmental, and ECU testing
    . Manage operations in specialized labs (e.g.,
    EMI chambers
    ).
  • Consulting:
    Advise clients on test setups, supplier validation, and global
    homologation
    .

Mandatory Requirements:

  • 8+ years
    of experience in Power Electronics.
  • BE or M.Tech
    in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent.
  • Expertise in
    Electrification, Inverter, Motor Drives, Battery charging, and BMS
    .
