We are seeking an ambitious and passionate
AI Agent & ML Engineer
to join our core product team. This is a hands-on role where you will directly design, build, and test the specialized AI agents that power our platform. You'll be actively contributing to
production systems
that solve real, complex regulatory challenges in MedTech.

Working alongside the founding team, senior engineers and domain experts, you'll be deeply embedded in the research, experimentation, and quality assurance phases, helping us push the boundaries of what is possible with
agentic AI, LLMs, and RAG systems
in a heavily regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Agent Development & Experimentation

• Prompt Engineering:
  Design, implement, and rigorously test prompts and prompt chains to guide specialized AI agents through complex MedTech regulatory workflows.
• RAG System Support:
  Assist in developing and maintaining components of our
  Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
  system, specifically focusing on data cleaning, structuring, and preparing documents for the vector database.
• Agent Logic:
  Write, test, and maintain Python code for agent tools, memory modules, and task orchestration logic.
• Model Evaluation:
  Run comparative experiments, tracking metrics to measure the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of different LLMs and tuning techniques for specific domain tasks.
• Navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of AI architectures and tools
  : This role involves independently assessing, proposing, and implementing cutting-edge solutions to drive our projects from concept to production.

2. Data & Model Preparation

• Data Pipeline Support:
  Work with Data Engineers to pre-process and validate domain-specific datasets required for agent grounding and model fine-tuning.
• Version Tracking:
  Maintain documentation and records of agent configurations, prompts, and evaluation results to ensure reproducibility and auditability.
• Quality Assurance:
  Develop and automate test cases (e.g., unit tests, integration tests) specifically designed to validate AI agent output quality, correctness, and adherence to MedTech compliance rules.

3. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor real-world AI agent performance by reviewing post-deployment metrics and insights.
• Collaborate with AIOps & Deployment Engineer on semi-automated improvement strategy
• Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions to maintain high coding standards and best practices.
• Stay current with advancements in LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks (e.g., Langgraph, LlamaIndex).

Required Skills & Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
  or a Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong foundational programming skills, especially in
  Python
  .
• Familiarity with the concepts of
  Large Language Models (LLMs)
  , vector embeddings, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Experience with
  Git
  for version control.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and how they support ML workflows.
• A highly curious, motivated, and collaborative mindset with a desire to learn fast in a regulated industry environment.
