As a Shoparize CSS Business Development Manager, you will help local and international merchants reach their audiences and potential customers. Backed by Google's Premium Partner Services, you will build relationships, add value and help grow local businesses.

Description

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our passionate Sales Team.

As a Business Development Manager at Shoparize, you will drive profit growth by attracting new merchants and agencies to our Shoparize CSS program.

You will be responsible for an entire economic market. Ideally, you are based in Amsterdam. However, we have a flexible remote work policy. We offer competitive compensation packages with attractive bonus schemes.

Role

Responsibilities include lead generation and building relationships with CEOs and marketing managers. You will start building your network in Ecommerce, by engaging with merchants, agencies and affiliate ​networks. We pride ourselves on our team collaboration to help close those deals at Shoparize. Other responsibilities include industry content development, customer support assistance and training (i.e. Google Skillshop Certifications).

Must have
  • 3-4 years of a proven track record in sales, preferably within the B2B e-commerce industry
  • English speaker is a must with proficiency in business English writing
  • Attributes include a team player, willing to share market insights, strong communicator, skilled in time management, a self starter who is methodically organized and is a proactive go-getter
  • Strong relationship builder and manager
  • Analytical orientated, want to know everything about Ecommerce and how our services work
  • Entrepreneurial, goal oriented mindset is a must
Nice to have
  • Professional speaker on a second language
  • Big network in Ecommerce
  • Strong understanding of Google Shopping and the Partner CSS program
  • Google Skillshop Certifications in Google Shopping, Ads and CSS
